Alberta Health Services conducted a study involving dialysis treatment and pain relief. Patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment are given recommended Acupressure treatments with the hope of decreasing the dependance on medications. Alberta Health Services consulted with Dr. Allan Fradsham and Eryn Forsyth for all Acupressure content. The information on the handout below is for patient to take home and use.
Through technical writing, simple design, labels and instructions, and consulting with professionals, the goal of this project was for patients to be able to understand and complete the Acupressure at home with ease.
